Rush used to air a bit about what Democrats stand for. I think there is one principle liberal Democrats do stand for.
It isn't "Human Rights" or "free speech". Democrats seldom criticize Communist, Islamic, or African countries' handling of "Human Rights". Closer to home, "Progressives" gladly attempt to silence political conservatives and theologically conservative Christians.
Murder? Guess again. The liberals who denounced Lyndie England's antics as torture are surprisingly silent or even sympathetic to suicide bombers in Israel and Iraq. How many murderers have benefitted from Liberals' romantic view of criminals? Criminals at a distance, anyway.
Unlimited promiscuity? Again, no. An accusation "rape" or "sexual harassment" is proof of guilt. Even gays, under certain circumstances (e.g. political conservatives) are subject to ridicule.
Drum roll please ... liberals' moral absolute is abortion. Liberals seem never to have "met" an abortion they didn't like (and maybe wish they could perform?).
