FLOWERS FOR SHARON 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Please note that I have placed a temporary module on the left side of every page with a button for anyone who is interested in donating money towards buying some flowers for Sharon for John's funeral/memorial services.

I will leave it up through tomorrow, and then I'll take whatever money is collected, add in some of my own, and buy as nice a flower presentation as we can. Any amount is appreciated. Don't feel like you have to pay for the whole thing. The payments will be going into my Paypal account, and I'll use that money to place an order with an online florist for delivery to Santa Fe.

Thanks in advance for your willingness to participate.

"I wore this frock coat in Washington, before the war. We wore them because we belonged to the Five Civilized Tribes. We dressed ourself up like Abraham Lincoln. You know, we got to see the Secretary of the Interior. He said, "Boy! You boys sure look civilized!" He congratulated us, and he gave us medals for looking so civilized. We told him about how our land had been stolen. Our people were dying. When we finished, he shook our hands and said, "Endeavor to persevere." They stood us in a line--John Jumper, Junior McIntosh, Buffalo Hump, Jim Pockmark, and me. I'm Lone Watie. They took our pictures, and the newspapers said, "Indians Vow to Endeavor to Persevere." We thought about it for a long time. "Endeavor to persevere". And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union." ~~ Lone Wate, The Outlaw Jose Wales

Someone asked if they could make a donation through their own Paypal account. The answer is "Yes."

When you click on the Paypal button on the left, you'll be taken to a landing page on the Paypal website. That page will offer you the opportunity to EITHER:
  1. Donate through your own Paypal account; OR
  2. Pay by using a credit card of your choice.

See the snapshot below taken from that landing page:

Either click on the "Continue" link (in the left circle) to use your credit card, or use the login form on the right to login to your Paypal acccount and process the donation that way.

To those who have donated so far, thank you for your generosity.

This works, by the way. I've had a PayPal account for years now--largely unused after I quit buying silver coins on ebay. It worked easily the first time. No problems.
